Adelaide parklands

Part of the learning curve was to see how difficult it would be to carry the camera, tripod and accessories (light meter, sheet film holders, dark cloth etc) to a site. I struggled when I walked to the sites in the western parklands. It was hard going. I quickly discovered that I could not walk that far whilst carrying that Linhof tripod.

I realized that if the distance was too great, and if I could not use the tram or a car in the CBD, then I would need to use a small wheeled cart to carry the camera gear around.

It was more than an exercise as I started becoming aware of the light on the graphic forms in low light situations:

Then I gave up and turned to start photographing in the CBD.
